Remarkably, D-MAP elicited vital antigen-specific immunity towards the D-chiral peptides, and an intact adaptive immune system was required for the hydrogel-induced pores and skin regeneration. These findings exhibit that the technology of an adaptive immune response from a biomaterial is adequate to induce cutaneous regenerative therapeutic regardless of sooner scaffold degradation.
